Siting and illumination to mitigate hazards
Thoughtful siting and appropriate illumination can reduce potential public safety hazards, particularly in industrial or commercial centres.
Thoughtful siting and illumination can overcome many of the potential hazards listed above. Public safety issues are less likely to occur where an advertisement is proposed within an existing industrial or commercial centre, and when the level of illumination proposed is appropriate to the location.
