Policy review and anticipated changes
The requirement for exceptional tourism development in the countryside is expected to decrease over time as market needs are met, and this policy will be reviewed with the Northern Ireland Tourist Board and local government.
It is anticipated that the requirement for the type of tourism development that might be regarded as exceptional in the context of this policy will diminish through time as market needs are met. Accordingly, this policy will be subject to review in consultation with Northern Ireland Tourist Board and local government.
