Car Park Design and Environmental Standards
All car parking proposals must be compatible with adjoining land uses, avoid increasing congestion or harming environmental quality, and achieve high standards of design, layout and landscaping.
All proposals for car parking will need to demonstrate that the proposal is compatible with adjoining land uses and will not significantly contribute to an increase in congestion nor be detrimental to local environmental quality. The Council will also expect a high standard of design, layout and landscaping to accompany all proposals for car parking.
