Sustainable Tourism Definition
Sustainable tourism is defined as tourism that meets the needs of present tourists and host regions while protecting and enhancing opportunities for the future.
The WTO promotes sustainable tourism and defines this as: "tourism that meets the needs of present tourists and host regions while protecting and enhancing opportunity for the future".
