Flood Risk Assessment requirements for fluvial/coastal flood plains
For developments in fluvial or coastal flood plains, the FRA must provide details of flood control and mitigation measures and safety procedures to address identified flood risks.
Where the proposed development is located within the fluvial / coastal flood plain (or reservoir flood inundation area), the FRA will also be required to provide details of flood control and mitigation measures as well as safety procedures that will address the flood risks identified.
