Conservation of Biodiversity and Ecology through SuDS
Sustainable drainage systems can incorporate biodiversity features like ponds and wetlands, and can connect to existing drains and waterways to create nature corridors beyond the development site.
Conservation of biodiversity and ecology will be supported through the incorporation of SuDS features such as ponds and wetlands; A well designed SuDS system can connect into and support the existing drains and waterways located beyond the development site, thus extending biodiversity via new nature corridors.
