Development Presumption Against Flood Inundation Area
Development is presumed against within potential flood inundation areas for essential infrastructure, hazardous substance storage, vulnerable group accommodation, and locations with unacceptable depth and velocity combinations.
All Development
There will be a presumption against development within the potential flood inundation area for proposals that include:
• essential infrastructure;
• storage of hazardous substances;
• bespoke accommodation for vulnerable groups;
and for any development located in areas where the Flood Risk Assessment indicates potential for an unacceptable combination of depth and velocity.
