Caravan, cabin and chalet proposals in rural areas
Proposals for caravans, cabins or chalets in rural areas must demonstrate landscaping measures to integrate into the rural setting, avoid formal layouts, and encourage provision for touring caravans and tents.
For caravan, cabin or chalet proposals in the rural area, visual impact and access arrangements will be important considerations. Proposals will need to demonstrate what landscaping measures will be put in place to assist in integrating the development into its rural setting and rigid, formal layout arrangements should be avoided. Provision within sites for touring caravans and tents will be encouraged.
