Policy FLD 1: Development in Fluvial and Coastal Flood Plains - General Prohibition
Development is not permitted in the 1 in 100 year fluvial flood plain or 1 in 200 year coastal flood plain unless the applicant demonstrates an exception to the policy.
Development will not be permitted within the 1 in 100 year fluvial flood plain (AEP of 1%) or the 1 in 200 year coastal flood plain (AEP of 0.5%) unless the applicant can demonstrate that the proposal constitutes an exception to the policy.
