Circumstances Requiring Consultation with Rivers Agency and Other Bodies
Rivers Agency and other organisations must normally be consulted where development is considered within fluvial or coastal floodplains, among other specified circumstances.
DARD Rivers Agency (and other organisations such as NI Water and / or DRD Transport NI in regard to surface water flooding) will normally be consulted in the following circumstances:
• where, exceptionally, development is considered appropriate within fluvial or coastal floodplains,
