Consistency with Sustainable Development Strategy
PPS 15 policies align with Northern Ireland's sustainable development principles and strategic objectives including climate change, land management, and environmental protection.
The policies in the Statement are consistent with the guiding principles of sustainable development expressed in the 'Everyone's Involved – Sustainable Development Strategy' for Northern Ireland, published in 2010. In addition, they take cognisance of strategic objectives identified in the Strategy including: climate change, promoting sustainable land management and managing development in ways that contribute to creating a better environment.
