Regional Development Strategy 2035 Overview

The RDS is Northern Ireland's spatial strategy providing long-term policy direction to guide public and private sector investment and decision-making, with recognition of climate change as a serious challenge requiring adaptation.

The Regional Development Strategy 2035 (RDS) is the spatial strategy of the Executive. It aims to provide long term policy direction with a strategic spatial perspective to facilitate and guide the public and private sectors in investment and other decision making. The RDS recognises that climate change is increasingly seen as one of the most serious problems facing the world and that Northern Ireland has its part to play in preparing for and adapting to climate change.
