Regional Transport Strategy and Rural Investment
The Regional Transport Strategy aims to improve safety and travel opportunities for rural areas through balanced regional investment and development of the Regional Strategic Transport Network serving both rural and urban areas.
The RTS seeks to improve safety and travel opportunities for people living in rural areas. It recognises the need for balanced investment across the whole region and in particular the development of the RSTN, which serves both rural and urban areas. The aim is to strengthen economic and social cohesion in Northern Ireland.
