Integration with Regional Transport Strategy and Performance Monitoring
Local transport plans must align capital works and policy measures with Regional Transport Strategy priorities, and establish targets and performance indicators to measure progress against local and strategic objectives.

They will also identify targets, performance indicators and other outputs in support of the RTS that can be used to measure progress against local and strategic objectives. An outline of the role of each transport plan is set out in Appendix 3 of this PPS.
