Rural Proofing
PPS 13 has been prepared following rural proofing guidance to ensure the needs and special considerations of rural communities are routinely and objectively considered as part of policy development.
PPS13 has been prepared in line with the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development's "A Guide to Rural Proofing - considering the needs of rural communities". Rural proofing ensures that the needs and special considerations of rural communities and areas are routinely and objectively considered as part of the policy development process. The guidance within this PPS acknowledges and aims to address the needs of the rural community.
