Housing Needs Assessment Objectives and Scope
A Housing Needs Assessment (HNA) identifies future land-use requirements for Supported Housing, Travellers, and Affordable Housing, and sets out regional housing market context and assessment of specific housing needs.
The primary objective for a HNA is to identify future landuse requirements in relation to Supported Housing, Travellers and Affordable Housing. The HNA will assist DOE Planning Service facilitate meeting such landuse requirements by providing a document which sets out an assessment of specific housing needs and their impact on the housing market. It will also set the regional housing market context within which such specific housing needs exist.
