Living Over the Shop - Permission Requirements
Planning permission for residential use above shops and business premises requires a suitable living environment and adequate refuse storage space that allows separation of recyclable waste.
Planning permission will be granted for residential use above shops and other business premises subject to the provision of:
• a suitable living environment; and
• adequate refuse storage space (large enough to allow for the separation of recyclable waste).
