Farm Diversification - Eligibility Criteria
Farm buildings can be reused or adapted for diversification schemes if the farm business has been established for at least 6 years continuously and the proposal respects rural character without significant adverse amenity impacts.
The Council will support the reuse and/or adaptation of farm buildings as part of a farm diversification scheme to be run in conjunction with existing agricultural operations where:
(a) The farm business has been established and operational for a continuous period of 6 years; and
(b) The nature and scale of the proposal respects the established rural character and does not result in any significant adverse amenity impacts.
