The strategy encourages creation of balanced local communities through varied housing types and tenures to meet different needs and foster community spirit and sense of belonging.
The strategy encourages the creation of more balanced local communities. These may be characterised by development patterns that contribute to greater community spirit, neighbourliness and a sense of belonging to a particular place. A variety of housing types and tenures offering choice is required to meet the different needs.
