Scope of PPS 12 Housing in Settlements
This policy guidance applies to all residential development proposals within cities, towns, villages and small settlements in Northern Ireland. It does not apply to dwellings in the countryside except in exceptional circumstances for Travellers accommodation, which is covered in Policy HS3 and PPS 14.
The policy guidance in this statement applies to all residential development proposals within cities, towns, villages and small settlements in Northern Ireland. This policy document does not apply to dwellings in the countryside, except in exceptional circumstances in respect of Travellers accommodation, as outlined in Policy HS3. Dwellings in the countryside will be dealt with in PPS 14 – The Countryside.
