Major Economic Development in Countryside
The Council will support major new industrial or economic development projects in countryside locations where significant regional economic contribution is demonstrated and countryside location is necessary due to size or site-specific requirements that cannot be met within or adjacent to settlements.
The Council will support a proposal for a major new industrial or economic development project where it is demonstrated that the proposal will make a significant contribution to the regional economy and a countryside location is deemed necessary due to its size or site specific requirements and that need cannot be met on a site within or adjacent to a settlement.
