Environmental Impact Assessment Directive
Certain public and private projects require formal consideration of environmental effects. This is implemented by the Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1999.
This Directive (the EIA Directive 85/337 EEC as amended by Directive 97/11/EC) requires formal consideration of the environmental effects of certain projects and is implemented by the Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1999.
