Enforcement Action for Unauthorised Development
Unauthorised development that causes significant environmental damage will be subject to prompt enforcement action to minimize the possibility of irreparable damage.
On occasions development requiring permission occurs without the required consent. Such development can cause significant damage to the environment. Where appropriate prompt enforcement action will be taken to ensure that the possibility of irreparable damage is minimised (see Planning Policy Statement 9 – The Enforcement of Planning Control).
