Planning Conditions for Working Hours
Planning conditions limiting hours of working should ensure waste management site operations are completed within the working day, with sufficient time for waste to be covered (such as in landfill operations) before end of day.
A planning condition limiting overall hours of working will generally lead to the specification of a shorter period for site operations to make sure that these are completed by the end of the working day. With the depositing of waste in a landfill site, for instance, sufficient time is required for the newly deposited wastes to be covered before operations end for the day.
