Removal condition for telecommunications apparatus

Planning permission for telecommunications apparatus must include a condition requiring removal as soon as reasonably practicable after it is no longer needed, with the site restored to its previous condition or as otherwise agreed.

Where planning permission is granted for telecommunications apparatus the Department will impose a condition requiring its removal, as soon as reasonably practicable after it is no longer required for telecommunications purposes. The land or site should then be restored to its condition before the development took place, or to any other condition as may be agreed in writing between the Department and the developer.
