Mitigation measures and application requirements
All applications must include details of mitigation measures considered to reduce visual and environmental impact, and when replacing existing infrastructure, operators should consider improved designs that are less visually intrusive.
In all cases applications will need to include details of what measures have been considered to mitigate the visual and environmental impact of the proposal. In addition where existing infrastructure is being replaced, operators should consider the scope for improved designs that would be less visually intrusive than that which it replaces.
