Research Programme on Mobile Telecommunications and Health
A joint Government/industry research programme funded by mobile phone companies and the public sector, with an independent oversight panel, has been established with a budget of approximately £7 million.

A joint Government/industry research programme, the Link Mobile Telecommunications and Health Research Programme, was set up during 2001. The Programme has an independent programme management committee led by Sir William Stewart and a budget of some £7 million.
