Health and Safety Executive Role in Telecommunications Installation
The Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland ensures that risks to people's health and safety from work activities are properly controlled during installation and maintenance of telecommunications antennas, under the Health and Safety at Work (Northern Ireland) Order 1978.
Under the Health and Safety at Work (Northern Ireland) Order 1978 the Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland (HSENI) seeks to ensure that risks to people's health and safety arising from work activities and the way work is carried out are properly controlled (for example, during the installation and maintenance of antennas).
