Secure information box guidance reference
Best practice guidance for secure information boxes in residential buildings is provided in the FIA Code of Practice for Premises Information Boxes, which also specifies what information should be stored.
Best practice guidance can be found in Sections 2 to 4 of the 'Code of Practice for the Provision of Premises Information Boxes in Residential Buildings' published by the Fire Industry Association (FIA). This FIA publication also sets out the information the fire and rescue service would expect to see stored within a secure information box.
