Reaction to fire performance classifications and smoke/droplet production
Reaction to fire classes A2 through D include smoke production classifications (s1 to s3, with s1 lowest), and classes A2 through E include flaming droplet/particle classifications (d0 to d2, with d0 lowest); s3 and d2 indicate no limits on these productions.
The classes of reaction to fire performance of A2, B, C and D are accompanied by additional classifications related to the production of smoke (s1, s2, s3) with s1 indicating the lowest production. The classes of reaction to fire performance of A2, B, C, D and E are accompanied by additional classifications related to the production of flaming droplets/particles (d0, d1, d2) with d0 indicating the lowest production.
