Local Employment Sites Identification
The Council will identify established industrial and business areas as Local Employment Sites in addition to Strategic Employment Locations, with boundaries to be set out in the Local Policies Plan.
In addition to SELs the Council will, where appropriate, identify other established industrial and business areas in Metropolitan Newtownabbey and our Borough's towns as Local Employment Sites. The location and precise boundaries of these sites will be brought forward in the Local Policies Plan.
