Line of sight on ramps and landing dimensions

Where a ramp lacks a clear line of sight between top and bottom landings, it must be divided into two ramps with an intermediate landing that has minimum dimensions of 1800 mm length and width to serve as a passing place.

Where a ramp does not have a clear line of sight between its top and bottom landings, it should be divided into two ramps such that there is a clear line of sight between the intermediate landing and the top and bottom landings. The intermediate landing should have an unobstructed length of not less than 1800 mm, and a surface width of not less than 1800 mm. This will allow enlarged landings to be used as passing places.
