Width of ramps in common areas of dwellings
Ramps in common areas of blocks of dwellings require a minimum surface width of 1200 mm, reduced to 1000 mm at handrail level where a handrail is provided.
A ramp should have a surface width of not less than 1200 mm. Where a handrail is provided, the width at handrail level may be reduced to not less than 1000 mm.
