Part H Application and Scope
Part H of the Building Regulations sets out requirements for stairs, ramps, guarding and protection from impact. It applies to most buildings and parts of buildings, with specific exceptions for certain stairs, ramps, and landings.
Subject to paragraphs (2) to (6), this Part shall apply to any building or part of a building.
