Smoking Enclosure Design and Tobacco Control Compliance
Applicants should seek advice from the council's tobacco control officers when designing smoking enclosures to ensure compliance with legislation regarding enclosed area percentages, especially when acoustic barriers are proposed.
Applicants shall be recommended to seek advice from the council's tobacco control officers with regard to the design of smoking enclosures to ensure compliance with the relevant legislation in relation to percentage of enclosed area, particularly if noise mitigation by way of an acoustic barrier/enclosure is recommended
