Creating continuous mix of activities and improving accessibility

Creating a continuous mix of activities between the daytime economy and the evening and night-time economy will create a lively, relaxed atmosphere that appeals to all age groups; and is more effective at mitigating the disorder that can potentially deter people from experiencing high quality recreational, cultural and leisure activities. In strengthening the diversity of the evening and night-time uses in the city centre and tourism clusters, it would offer good access to a choice of public transport routes, cycling and walking, thereby reducing the need to use a car.
